Additional Combined Services

We offer a number of additional services which are available alongside our regular monthly emergency lighting or weekly fire alarm tests.

Services such as tap temperature checks, meter readings and smoke detector tests can be integrated to form part of your regular testing routines. By combining services together in this way several tests can be conducted during a single service visit. This reduces the number of visits to site, maximising efficiency and saving money.

We are able to offer the following services:

Lift Intercom Checks

We can test your lift intercom system and lift alarm to ensure they are fully functional in case of an emergency. These checks can be carried out on a regular basis alongside your fire alarm testing routines.

Water Flushing

We can regularly flush infrequently used water outlets within your building to minimise the risk of build-up of legionella bacteria and ensure water supplies are fully functional.

Domestic Smoke Detector Testing

Smoke detectors play an important role in alerting occupants when there is a risk from fire. To ensure equipment is operating effectively it’s essential to test smoke detectors regularly. We offer weekly testing in accordance with BS 5839 (Part 6) to check the functionality of your detectors.

Meter Readings

Whilst we are on site we can provide meter readings. This ensures you are updated on a regular basis regarding your building’s electricity, gas and water consumption.

Water Temperature Testing

It’s important to monitor your water temperatures both to prevent scalding and minimise the risk of legionella. Our testers use specialist equipment which allows them to accurately test your water temperatures helping prevent accidents due to excessively hot water and make sure temperatures are not within the limits which promote the build up of legionella bacteria.

Tailored to your Requirements

Before commencing our testing services, we conduct a full audit of the property, identifying the systems and equipment on site. This allows us to tailor our visits to meet your requirements at site, ensuring a practicable solution which will work for everyone.

Cost-Effective

Efficiency is imperative in keeping costs to a minimum. Our combined services allow a range of tests to be carried out whilst we are on site. This reduces the need for return visits and minimises cost.
